Tutte le risorse ( HDRI, texture e modelli 3D) in questo sito sono lavori originali dello staff di Poly Haven, o di artisti che volontariamente e direttamente donano/vendono il loro lavoro a Poly Haven.

Le nostre risorse sono tutte concesse in licenza come CC0, che è effettivamente Dominio Pubblico anche nelle giurisdizioni che non supportano il dominio pubblico.

Perché CC0?

Riteniamo che i vantaggi dell'utilizzo di questa licenza superino gli svantaggi che abbiamo dal punto di vista finanziario come azienda.

Sì, è possibile che utenti non etici possano (e succede, credeteci) rivendere il nostro lavoro per proprio profitto, al clienti inconsapevoli di acquistare contenuti che potevano ottenere qui gratuitamente.

Ciò che l'industria 3D nel suo insieme guadagna dal fatto che il nostro lavoro è liberamente disponibile è incommensurabile

L'arte 3D è inoltre solo la punta dell'iceberg, abbiamo sentito da numerosi scienziati dei dati, sviluppatori di software, ingegneri automobilistici e ricercatori di intelligenza artificiale che utilizzano tutti le nostre risorse nel loro lavoro, cosa che semplicemente non sarebbe possibile con licenze più restrittive (anche open source ).
